Coca-Cola Volunteers Club

Coca-Cola Volunteer club celebrated its fifth anniversary – five extraordinary years since our first volunteer action, the “Day of Good Will”,  aiming to provide support and help to the local community.

The Coca-Cola Volunteers Club was established in 2005 with its mission and objective to cherish and spread the spirit of good will among people, but also to promote corporate responsibility, active participation and personal engagement in the community we operate in.  The first Day of Good Will brought together 80 employees and, over the last 5 years, our Volunteer Club has engaged up to 300 members from Coca-Cola Hellenic, Fresh & Co and Vlasinka.

Our volunteers, along with their families, partners and numerous organisations, generously participated in over 30 actions spreading good will, enthusiasm and the idea of volunteering. Always willing to help those in need, volunteers along with Dr Clowns, their partners of five years, started a three-day caravan and visited all those institutions where they spread the spirit of good will. Volunteers  visited institutions in Nis, Belgrade, Novi Sad and Surdulica and participated in refurbishing the park located in front of the “Olga Dedijer” children’s hospital and thanks to these joint efforts the hospital remained open and now represents one of the most cheerful children’s hospitals in Belgrade.

Over the last five years Coca-Cola volunteers have visited and befriended children in institutions for the mentally disabled, cleaned up the Danube river, renovated children’s hospitals, kindergartens and homes for abandoned children, collected financial aid for victims of natural disasters, participated in football and basketball humanitarian tournaments and matches with the participants of the Special Olympics. Their mission does not end there since they continue, with their example and engagement, to motivate and invite all people of good will to make a difference in their community.
